Job description
Hospice is welcoming compassionate people to join our volunteer team! We have many opportunities to serve in Northwest Ohio and are looking for more volunteers in surrounding cities around Whitehouse, Ohio. No experience is needed; orientation and training are provided. Often just your caring presence is enough to make a huge impact on those we serve. Visit with patients for friendship and companionship in multiple nursing centers and homes around Defiance, Lucas, Henry, Paulding, Wiliam, Wood counties. Your time will make a difference in the lives of those who are dying and their families.
Have a specific skill to offer? We welcome a wide variety of volunteers to enhance our services! Musicians, pastors, Veterans, pet therapists, Reiki practitioners, massage therapists, and more. Please consider offering your time and talent to our team. Our volunteers find the experience of giving back to those at the end of life to be an enriching and meaningful experience.
