Heat Treat Set Up TechnicianWe are seeking a heat treat set up technician for an automotive components manufacturing plant in Walesboro Indiana!A leading manufacturer of automotive components, focused on producing high-quality drive shafts for major vehicle manufacturers. The Walesboro facility emphasizes precision, safety, and continuous improvement while supporting the local community and workforce.Industry standard insurance, retirement, etc.Company provided PPE!Direct hire position$ 23.75 / annuallyFull Time work availableVarious shifts availableMaintains cycle process integrity with the direction of the production supervisorWorks with support department to ensure tools, machines and processes are optimizedRecommends and implements changes and improvements to cycles, processes and procedures to maintain schedules and quality partsMaintain documentation and paperwork to support production cycles and procedures3 - 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment dealing with the operation of CNC equipmentFamiliarity of metrics, blueprint reading, micrometers, calipers, Rockwell and induction preferredPrior experience with set-up of gauging and programmable automation helpfulPrior technical training desiredApplicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
