Heating Service TechnicianAs a Heating Service Technician, you will be responsible for the day-to-day servicing of our customers. Your goal will be to troubleshoot and perform diagnostic activities regarding service equipment within our established policies and procedures. Your success is dependent on the quality of work you complete and the satisfaction of our customers' needs.What We Offer:Work Environment - Safety training and equipment providedCompetitive Compensation - Including an annual bonus plan, 401k matched up to 4%, and a Sign-on BonusFlexible Benefits Plan - In effect on the first day of the month following date of hire and offers three levels of coverage to select from to meet your unique, personal needsPaid Vacation - Plus an annual option to purchase additional vacation, tooWellness Support – With an annual wellness allowance, paid personal care days and a 24/7 Employee & Family Assistance ProgramOpportunity to give back to some amazing causes in our community - Choose when and where to make an impact with a paid volunteer day, company volunteer opportunities, and a donation matching programYour Responsibilities:Install, maintain, and troubleshoot oil and propane-fired boilers, furnaces, water heaters, and oil tanksTroubleshoot and resolve problems that occur by reviewing diagnostics and using the proper tools to complete repairsProvide final inspections of systems once repairs are completed to ensure all equipment is operating safelyComplete appropriate daily paperwork for each service callMaintain daily and yearly inventoryEnsure the service truck is in good working order and reliablePerform other duties as required to maintain and enhance departmental productivityRotational on-call evenings and weekendsYour Skills:Ability to work well with others; good organization and communication skills, attention to detail and strong customer serviceFrequent driving, climbing in and out of vehicle working in confined spaces, heavy lifting and ability to work at heights ranging up to 50 ftAbility to install various types of heating equipmentAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlinesStrong decision-making skillsYour Experience:A valid Propane or natural gas license. Nora Certification is an assetKnowledge of wiring and plumbing is requiredHeating technician experience considered an assetThe expected hourly range for this position is $25.00-$40.00.
