Job Description Job Description We are seeking a skilled Heavy Diesel Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of heavy machinery. This role requires a strong understanding of diesel engine repair, hydraulics, and the ability to work with OEM specifications. The Heavy Equipment Mechanic will play a crucial role in ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely.
Duties
Analyze, diagnose, repair and maintain light, medium and heavy trucks, loaders, skid steers and other construction equipment
Conduct preventive maintenance inspections on all equipment.
Maintain accurate records
Performs other duties as assigned
Understand operating principles of machinery.
Use judgement to determine repair priorities.
Communicate effectively with fellow employees for safety and efficiency.
Preferred Experience/Education
CDL Highly Preferred
3 years experience and/or votech / Mechanical Training
Good driving record
Reliable and strong problem-solving skills
DOT Certification Preferred
