Ask yourself:
Are you a skilled Heavy-Duty Diesel Technician with a passion for your craft? Do you have a strong attention to detail and the ability to solve complex automotive issues? Are you a team player with excellent communication skills? If you answered "yes" to these questions and can meet the following requirements, we need you as our Heavy-Duty Diesel Technician!
Must be at least 21 years old
4+ years of experience
Basic computer skills
CDL preferred (not required)
Must be knowledgeable in DOT inspections along with full knowledge/understanding in performance of pre/post-trip requirements
Shop experience preferred
Journeyman-level technician with Paccar engine knowledge
Emission after-treatment system experience.
Electrical diag and repair knowledge
HVAC certified or equal experience
What type of work do you provide?
As a Full-Time Heavy-Duty Diesel Technician at American Motors, you'll enjoy a 3 or 4 Day Work Week (Four - 10hr days) with the opportunity for overtime. Your typical day will involve performing maintenance/inspection on all vehicles and equipment, diagnosing and repairing larger scale issues, handling some building/facility maintenance tasks, and assisting drivers in the yard with pretrip or start-up issues. You'll be an integral part of our team, ensuring that every truck coming out of our shop is in top-notch condition upon completing any repairs.
