Job description
Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of Hydrovac trucks, semi-trucks, and half-ton trucks in accordance with manufacturer specifications. This role requires strong mechanical expertise, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Hydrovac experience preferred; semi-truck experience required.
Duties & Responsibilities
Accurately interpret work orders, service manuals, and technical diagrams.
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical system failures.
Ensure full compliance with DOT, MSA, and OSHA regulations.
Document all work performed using established procedures and maintenance systems.
Communicate additional repair needs to the Fleet Manager.
Train, mentor, and assist other technicians as needed.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
RequirementsMust pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy-duty construction equipment, Hydrovac/Vacuum trucks, or fleet repair (preferred).
Must maintain an approved MVR; Class A or B CDL preferred but not required.
Must provide personal hand tools required to perform the job.

Work Environment Must be able to work in indoor/outdoor environments, including extreme weather.
Exposure to loud noise, heavy equipment, and industrial conditions.
Physical Demands Ability to repeatedly sit, lift, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, reach, and crawl.
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs multiple times throughout the workday.
Compensation: Pay Type: Hourly
Pay Range: $35.00 - $45.00/hour DOE
