nRequisition Summary
nPACCAR Financial is seeking a Truck Technician to join our Used Truck Center in Fontana, Ca. In this position, you will perform a variety of skilled tasks including proper maintenance and repair of Class 6/7/8 Diesel Powered Trucks.
nJob Functions / Responsibilities
nnnMust be able to work during core business hours, Monday through Friday.
n
nnPerform diagnostic inspections on general truck-tractor systems utilizing both mechanical diagnostics and system software diagnostics.
n
nnPerform preventative maintenance inspection of truck-tractor components following a PACCAR check list.
n
nnPerform repairs to truck-tractor components including, but not limited to, oil change, light bulb replacement, and wheels and tires.
n
nnComplete required paperwork to reflect hours, parts and lube, which are utilized within each job function.
n
nnAbility to work with little or no supervision.
n
nnAbility to work in a team based environment, multi-task and accept shifting priorities.
n
nnProvide superior customer service to all of PACCAR's clients.
n
n nQualifications and Skills
nnnMinimum 2+ years of hands-on diesel mechanics experience
n
nnProven track record of quality workmanship with minimal rework
n
nnStrong commitment to workplace safety with demonstrated knowledge of shop safety protocols
n
nnAbility to maintain focus and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
n
nnCapable of standing and working for extended periods
n
nnComfortable performing work under vehicles and engine bays
n
nnAbility to handle the physical demands of diesel mechanic work
n
nnAvailable for full-time work and able to work additional hours occasionally as needed
n
n nPreferred Qualifications and skills
nnCDL highly preferred
n nEducation
nnHigh School diploma required.

The salary range for the Tech B is $33.52 - $40.22/hr. Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above.
