Job description
Heavy Duty Mechanic
As a Heavy Duty Mechanic at McSweeney Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Pell City, AL, you will be responsible for repairing, maintaining, and inspecting heavy-duty trucks, service vehicles, and other vehicles. This role requires a high level of mechanical knowledge and expertise in diagnosing and fixing a variety of mechanical issues.
Responsibilities:
Performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty vehicles
Diagnosing mechanical issues and developing appropriate solutions
Inspecting vehicles to ensure they meet safety standards
Keeping accurate records of all repairs and maintenance work
Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors
Requirements:
Certification in heavy-duty vehicle mechanics, CDJR brand certificates a plus
Proven experience working as a mechanic on heavy-duty vehicles
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication skills
