Job Description Job Description Now Hiring: Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic
Boatman Industries, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled diesel mechanic with hands-on experience working on high pressure water pump equipment . Responsibilities will include the maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety of equipment.
Location: Hobby Airport Area - 7355 Airport Blvd. Houston, TX 77061
Position Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose, service, and repair high pressure water pumps, related hydraulic systems and diesel engines
Troubleshoot and repair technical problems
Interpret parts and service manuals in order to properly diagnose repairs needed as well as order appropriate parts
Disassemble and reassemble engines and component parts
Maintain safety, quality control, and testing procedures
Requirements:
Strong diesel mechanical background with direct experience in high pressure pumps
Solid understanding of diesel engines, pressure testing, and troubleshooting
Ability to communicate and interface effectively with personnel in and outside the organization
Ability to read technical schematics and service manuals
Organized, dependable, and safety-minded
All applicants must have minimum of two years relevant experience in equipment maintenance industry, must have own tools, a valid driver's license, and be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
