Job description
Heavy Equipment/ Front-End Loader OperatorLocation: Groveland, Florida Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m.Overview: Responsible for preparing organic mixes using a heavy-equipment loader. This includes pushing and organizing material piles to maintain proper segregation and loading material into shakers to ensure a continuous flow through the machines.Key Responsibilities:Operate heavy equipment such as front loaders/dozersMaintain stockpile slopes to ensure a safe working environmentLoad material into shakers to support uninterrupted productionKeep equipment clean and in good working conditionWork safely and follow all established proceduresSkills & Competencies:Proficiency in operating and maintaining heavy equipmentAbility to work long hours seated in a loader in dusty, hot conditionsAbility to repeatedly climb into and out of equipmentStrong understanding of safety practices and proceduresAbility to read English and/or follow verbal instructionsEffective communication skillsComfortable working in dusty, hot, cold, or rainy environments
