Heavy Equipment OperatorLocation: Chickasha, OK Pay: $20-$30/hr DOE (Depending on Experience) Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | Overtime AvailableJob SummaryA reputable company in the Chickasha area is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating construction and earthmoving equipment while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, productivity, and quality work.ResponsibilitiesOperate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and skid steersPerform excavation, grading, trenching, and site preparation activitiesConduct daily equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenanceFollow project plans, specifications, and safety guidelinesWork closely with supervisors and crew members to complete projects efficientlyMaintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance needsEnsure work areas remain clean and safeQualificationsPrevious heavy equipment operating experience requiredAbility to safely operate various types of construction equipmentKnowledge of construction site safety practicesAbility to read grade stakes, blueprints, and site plans is a plusValid driver's license required; CDL preferredAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditionsStrong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detailPhysical RequirementsAbility to sit, stand, bend, and climb throughout the workdayAbility to lift up to 50 pounds as neededAbility to work extended hours and overtime when requiredBenefitsCompetitive pay based on experienceOvertime opportunitiesFull-time, stable employmentCareer growth and advancement opportunities
