Heavy Equipment OperatorHCS Construction is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator! The Heavy Equipment Operator will be responsible for safely operating heavy equipment to place and install underground telecom facilities. We're looking for reliable and hard-working individuals that take pride in their work. Please apply here or directly on our website today!Responsibilities:Operate chain trencher, directional drill, plow, backhoe, dozer, rock saw, and tractor trailer safely and efficiently.Ensure team properly potholes for other utilities to ensure there no conflicts with the drill pathFill water tanks with water.Know and understand the location of underground utilities at all times to avoid striking or damaging themBefore work is started, ensure all utilities have been located and develop a plan for going above or below each utility or obstacle in the drill path.Pull back the product with the correct hole opener and utilize the correct mud mixture to ensure that the product makes it from point A to point B.Inspect and maintain job equipment.Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.Requirements:Valid driver's licensePre-Employment ScreeningRelevant Telecom/Utilities Experience 2+ yearsMUST have or be able to obtain CDL Class A licenseRelated keywords: heavy equipment operator, heavy equipment operator jobs, utilities operator, directional drill operator, directional drill operator jobs, drill operator, drill operator jobs, osp, osp construction, telecom, telecom jobs, commercial, industrial, apprentice, construction, new construction, install, project, on-site, safety, skilled, skilled trade, craft, skilled craft
