Heavy Equipment Operator II – Water & Sewer UtilitiesLocation: Lufkin, TX Pay: $17.42/hour Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Employment Type: Full-TimeExpress Employment Professionals is now hiring a Heavy Equipment Operator II in the Lufkin area. This is a great opportunity for an experienced equipment operator looking for full-time work and the opportunity to utilize their skills in construction, excavation, maintenance, and utility operations.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate heavy and specialized equipment including backhoes, bulldozers, trackhoes, dump trucks, mini excavators, jet machines, and trenchersPerform general labor, maintenance, and repair workAssist with the maintenance and repair of water and sewer systems, infrastructure, facilities, and groundsTransport equipment, vehicles, and materials to job sitesPerform routine equipment and vehicle inspections, cleaning, and maintenanceRead and follow plans, cut sheets, blueprints, manuals, and regulationsComplete required daily logs and reportsFollow established workplace and equipment safety proceduresServe as crew foreman when neededParticipate in an on-call schedule as requiredPerform additional duties as assignedThis is an essential service position, and the employee may be required to work during emergency situations. On-call availability may also be required.
