Heavy Equipment Operator
Skilled Trades Partners is currently seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator for a long-term commercial project in Lee, MA.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced operator looking for steady, long-term work with a contractor whose projects include landfills, parks, site work, earthwork, and other commercial construction projects.
Position Details
Position: Heavy Equipment Operator
Equipment: Excavator
Location: Lee, MA
Pay: $38–$42/hour, depending on experience
Project: Long-term commercial project
Schedule: Full-time
Responsibilities
Safely and efficiently operate an excavator on commercial construction projects
Perform excavation, grading, digging, loading, and other site/earthwork duties
Work around landfills, parks, and other large-scale commercial sites
Follow all safety procedures and jobsite requirements
Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance concerns
Work effectively with ground crews and other equipment operators
Requirements
Proven experience operating an excavator
Experience with site work, earthwork, landfills, parks, or similar commercial construction projects preferred
Valid Massachusetts 2A Hoisting License required
Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
Strong understanding of construction site safety
