Heavy Equipment OperatorTimber Ridge Landfill is searching for a heavy equipment operator in Richwoods, Missouri. We offer competitive pay and day shift.As our equipment operator your daily tasks will include:Spreading and compacting trash using a compactorSpreading daily cover using a dozerExcavating soil using an excavatorMaintaining haul roads using a graderHauling soilThe ideal candidate will be able to:Operate several pieces of light equipment throughout the work dayWork in a fast paced, team environmentWork outdoors in all types of weatherFollow safe operating practicesLearn and use interpersonal skills relating to good customer serviceWrite and comprehend reports well enough to complete daily assignmentsPossess a satisfactory driving recordHave one year of previous experience operating light equipmentPrevious landfill experience a plus BUT not required!Successful candidates are those who seek to thrive in an environment of operational excellence and accountability.
