High School Diploma or GED required. Texas Commercial Driver's License, Class A, is required or must be obtained within 6 months.
The position requires experience operating equipment such as backhoes and excavators to remove pavement, perform excavation, and prepare work areas for repairs or construction. Duties include digging trenches, loading and moving materials, assisting with pavement removal and site preparation, and performing routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance. The operator must follow all safety procedures and work effectively with crew members to complete assigned projects. This position is also responsible for loading, unloading, and transporting equipment from site to site.
