You know how to run equipment without being babysat, read what the site needs, and keep excavation and construction work moving safely and efficiently.

Take on more complex field responsibilities than a developing operator

Your New Role Travel from Valley, Nebraska to commercial and industrial construction projects throughout the Midwest

Independently operate excavators, skid loaders, and reach forklifts

Perform excavation, grading, site preparation, and material-handling work

Support concrete construction and other commercial construction activities

Drive company vehicles utilizing your Class A CDL

Select and operate the appropriate equipment based on daily project needs

Coordinate with supervisors and field crews to maintain production schedules

Identify job-site and equipment safety concerns and follow company procedures

Work in varying outdoor conditions across multiple project locations

Use smartphone applications for communication, scheduling, and project documentation

Support field operations from mobilization through project completion

Work overtime as required by project schedules

5+ years of construction and heavy equipment operating experience preferred

Strong excavator operating experience

Strong skid loader operating experience

Experience operating reach forklifts

Demonstrated experience with excavation, grading, and site preparation

Commercial or industrial construction experience preferred

Concrete construction experience strongly preferred

Ability to operate equipment with limited day-to-day supervision

Ability and willingness to travel for assignments typically lasting 4 to 5 weeks

Willingness and ability to work overtime as needed

Comfortable using smartphones and digital reporting tools

Strong safety awareness, dependability, and communication skills
