Heavy Machine OperatorTotal Talent Solutions is now hiring for a Heavy Machine Operator in Roswell, GA. The pay rate is $21.00 per hour with a schedule of Monday – Thursday, 7 AM – 5:30 PM. This opportunity lets you operate manufacturing equipment, monitor product quality, and help produce consistent results in a safe, fast-paced production environment.Education Requirements:High School Diploma or GED requiredTechnical training or coursework in mechanical, manufacturing, industrial, or maintenance fields is a plusBasic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Windows applicationsExperience Requirements:3+ years of machine operation, mechanical, manufacturing, maintenance, or industrial equipment experienceExperience working with mechanical systems such as motors, pumps, valves, conveyors, or process equipmentStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilitiesExperience operating large production equipment preferredPreferred Qualifications:Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new equipment quicklyExperience with extrusion equipment is a plusElectrical troubleshooting knowledge is beneficialSelf-motivated and adaptable in a changing production environmentGood math skills and ability to perform basic calculationsExperience using hand tools and industrial equipmentPhysical Capabilities:Stand and walk for up to 90% of the shiftFrequently bend, reach, squat, climb stairs, and access elevated catwalksLift and move up to 50 pounds regularlyAbility to work around high noise levels, hot equipment, and varying temperaturesAbility to operate powered industrial equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and scissor lifts after trainingJob Duties:Set up, modify, and tear down production equipment to meet product testing requirementsMonitor equipment performance and troubleshoot operational issuesMake mechanical adjustments to achieve required product specificationsConduct equipment inspections and support process improvementsSafely operate large-scale manufacturing machineryCollaborate with engineering and production teams to support pilot plant operationsMaintain accurate records and follow safety and quality proceduresBenefits:Competitive Weekly PayComprehensive Benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverageLife Insurance and Disability Insurance for added peace of mindOptional 401(k) Plan to help you prepare for the futureSafety-Focused Manufacturing Environment with opportunities for training and advancementAbout Us:At Staffmark, we connect hardworking people with great companies, creating opportunities that make a lasting impact.
