Duties
Help
Provides supervision to employees engaged diagnosing, repairing and replacing heavy mobile parts on various types of vehicles.
Responsible for making production schedules and utilizing the resources that are available.
Responsible for managing a group of employees to include disciplinary, counseling, rating and directing them to accomplish a mission.

Conditions of employment This position requires a Secret Security Clearance.
Travel may be required up to 25% of the time.
Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
One year trial/probationary period may be required.
This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.

Additional information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.

This position requires a 1 year probationary period during which the agency evaluates your fitness and whether your continued employment advances the public interest. This is a General Equipment Maintenance Group 17 Career Field position.
Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees.
