Essential duties and responsibilities include: following and complying with applicable good manufacturing, safety, and quality assurance practices; verifying quality control items such as product weights, coding, packaging, GMP's etc.; maintaining proper documentation in all record keeping formats; operating Rothenberg, chipping, bulk packer, and rework equipment (Melter/Sepamatic) at an efficient level to fulfill plant demands; serving as relief/support staff to machine operators throughout the print and packaging department; serving as relief/support staff for Par Room Forklift Operator; assisting with general cleaning and housekeeping throughout the plant as needed; backfilling to other positions/departments as needed; and other duties as assigned by the supervisor.Summary of benefits: We are proud to offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits package designed to support the well-being and success of our team members, including health & dental insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, vacation, holiday pay, short-term disability & life insurance, earned sick and safe time (ESST), bi-weekly pay through direct deposit, company-provided group term life insurance coverage, safety footwear reimbursement, and professional growth opportunities for training, advancement, and career development.Compensation for this position ranges from $25.28 to $26.29, based on education, experience, and relevant qualifications will be taken into consideration. Demonstrate an understanding of the products manufactured and the processes involved. Ability to adapt effectively within a continually changing and demanding environment. Basic understanding of equipment operations, and minor troubleshooting ability. Must be able to demonstrate an ability and willingness to communicate effectively in order to maintain high levels of safety, quality, and efficiency. Ability to read and comprehend standard operating procedures and company guidelines in order to maintain regulatory compliance. Able to understand daily production needs. Demonstrate the Qualified Individuals responsibilities for the Preventative Controls. Qualified candidates must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English language. Education/Experience: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). Food manufacturing, material handling, and forklift operation experience is preferred.
