Heavy Truck AssemblerSuper Products LLC is currently accepting applications for Heavy Truck Assemblers at our Mukwonago, WI location. Heavy Truck Assemblers are responsible for the complex mechanical assembly and installation of various components, while ensuring precision and adherence to safety standards. The base hours are 5:30 am to 1:30 pm, Monday to Friday, plus overtime opportunities.Position Summary: Under minimal supervision, you will assemble component parts into a completed product following blueprints, work orders, and other written and/or verbal specifications. You will also position parts of the unit being assembled following specifications while using knowledge gained by your experience.Essential Functions of the JobAssemble componentsProduce assemblies with zero defectsSet up assembly job by locating parts and gathering materials by work orderAlign components and assemble together using hand tools or portable power toolsDrill, tap or ream holes as necessaryConnect auxiliary pneumatic or hydraulic lines and cut/fit pipe and tubing as necessaryRemove small quantities of metal using hand tools to clean parts or produce proper fitFollow established safety proceduresComplete assemblies within the allotted timeProperly document all quality checklists, material lists, and PDI formsKnowledge, Skills and, Abilities (KSA's)Trained in one cell at an average skill levelBasic knowledge of hand toolsAbove average mechanical aptitudeExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHands-on attitude and abilityThe ability to meet assembly deadlinesAble to wear personal protective equipmentAble to work overtime and/or including weekends as production schedules dictateEducation and ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GED requiredMinimum 1-year mechanical experience requiredWorking ConditionsPerform work in a non-climate-controlled metal manufacturing production environmentCommunicate respectfully with supervisors and fellow employeesRead and comprehend blueprints and tape measureTorque a bolt to 40 ft/lbsAble to work with their arms elevated for periods up to 5 minutes at a timeRequires various visual processing (i.e., near, far, depth, color)Must be able to work in an environment with noise at 75-decibels (25-decibel using earplugs)Must be able to bend, stoop and crouch or kneel for up to 1 hour or be on their feet for 90% of their shift and walk up to 75% on concreteMust be able to climb 13ft by way of 12-inch rung laddersMust be able to lift, push and/or pull up to 40lbs and carry that weight 5ftRelocation not available for this positionEOE Minorities/Females/Protected Veterans/Disabled | Drug-Free WorkplaceWe are proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity, Affirmative Action employer.
