nMechanic/technician to perform work of repair and maintenance of commercial vehicles and equipment.
nC Level – Duties, responsibilities and qualifications
nnnAbility to perform federal inspections in compliance if 396.17 through 396.23 Appendix G
n
nnAbility to perform preventative maintenance inspections on power unit and trailers
n
nnLube, oil and filter on power units
n
nnAir brake component removal and installation
n
nnRoutine electrical repairs
n
nnTire removal and installation
n
nnSuspension component replacement I.E., airbags
n
nnAbility to perform routine bolt on component replacement, i.e.: alternator, starter, a/c compressor, air compressor, torque arms but not limited to these items
n
nnAbility to run torches, plasma and some minor welding required
n
nnAbility to perform minor hydraulic repairs, i.e.: hose replacement and valve replacement
n
nnAble to perform wheel end replacement and diagnostics
n
nnAnti-lock brake component replacement
n
nnMust have or be in the process of having NYS Inspectors License
n
nnRide along with company driver, gain an understanding of driver operations and work completed within their daily functions
n

nnMust be able to maneuver 100lbs with tooling

nnAbility to lift/move 50lbs independently

nnTire fault diagnostics and component replacement

nnManifold, turbo removal and installation
