Desktop Support Technician / Desktop Tech Location: Winchester, VA (Onsite)
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and self-driven Leader for our Lead Desktop Support Technician to provide hands-on technical support leadership in a fast-paced environment. This individual will be responsible for leading members and troubleshooting hardware, software, and basic network issues while delivering excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently and has strong problem-solving skills. Leadership experience is required
Responsibilities
Lead projects and teams
Provide desktop and laptop support for end users.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, printer, and peripheral issues.
Install, configure, and maintain PCs, laptops, mobile devices, and related equipment.
Support Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office applications, and standard business software.
Diagnose and resolve basic network connectivity issues, including Wi-Fi, VPN, and LAN troubleshooting.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of Desktop Support, Help Desk, or IT Support experience.
Lead or supervised teams and / or projects
Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and operating systems.
Basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and wireless connectivity.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Active Directory and user account management.
Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Jira, or similar platforms.
CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certification preferred.
