n n Levine Cancer (LC)n n n n n , a part of Atrium Health, is currently seeking a qualifiedn n n n n n n Advanced Practice Providern n n n n n n to join the Infusion APP team at LCI-Morehead in Charlotte, NC. This provider functions primarily in the infusion center caring for hematology and oncology patients.n n n n n
n n About the Position:n n
n n n Patients from all LCI locations are treated at this locationn n n n n
n n n Duties include but are not limited to: Reviewing abnormal labs, treatment toxicities, acute problems, emergency management, management of infusion/transfusion reactions, patient education, participation in research and quality improvement projects, and education of infusion staffn n n n n
n n n Primarily outpatient with some rotation to Pineville infusion centern n n n n
n n n Call Schedule: No call.n n n n n
n n n Staff work 4 ten-hour days each week and every 10th-12th weekend.n n n n n Rotaten n n n n minor holiday coverage. Infusion is onlyn n n n n closedn n n n n Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day.n n n n n
n n n Most labs are done in house, as is x-ray (plain film only)n n n n n
n n n Staffing: Infusion is staffed by 8 APPs with a mix of NPs and PAs. Attending physicians are available forn n n n n consultn n n .n n n n n
n n n Team collaborates with multi-specialty groups, including nutrition, navigation, radiation, surgeon, medical oncologist, integrative, palliative medicine, etc.n n n n n
n n n Opportunity to teach APP students and fellowsn n n n n
n n n Clinic Hours: alternating with n n n n n

n n n Ability to prioritize based on acuity in a fast-paced environmentn n n n n

n n Position Qualifications:n n
n n n Graduation from an accredited NP or PA program. Current prescriptive privileges and DEA licensen n n n n requiredn n n . BLS for healthcaren n n n n providern n n n n from AHAn n n n n requiredn n n , ACLS preferred.n n n n n
n n n Nurse practitionersn n n n n are required ton n n n n have a master's degree or doctorate in nursing practice.n n n n n Certificationn n n n n NP from a nationally recognizedn n n n n certifyingn n n n n bodyn n n n n requiredn n n .n n n n n
n n n Physician Assistants with certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants preferred. Current or pending CAQ certification preferred.n n n n n
n n n 1+ years of experience preferred. Hematology/Oncology experience preferred but notn n n n n requiredn n n .n n n n n
