About the Facility This facility operates as an outpatient cancer center providing specialized hematology and oncology services within a structured clinic environment. Clinical operations are supported by a team that includes other physicians, a medical assistant, a registered nurse, and cancer care navigators to facilitate coordinated oncologic care delivery. Established workflows are in place to support quality hematologic and oncologic care on a locum tenens basis.
About the Facility Location While on assignment in central California, make time to see Yosemite National Park on an off day! You could even head to the state capital, Sacramento for a fun day of site-seeing and amazing food!
About the Clinician's Workday Clinicians will provide on-site outpatient hematology and oncology coverage, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, with no call obligations required. The clinical scope is 80% oncology and 20% hematology, encompassing the evaluation and management of hematologic and oncologic conditions within an outpatient clinic setting for an adult patient population. Clinicians will manage up to 16 patients per day, with 2-3 new consults expected daily. Other physicians are on site, and a medical assistant, registered nurse, and cancer care navigators are available to support clinical operations throughout the assignment.
