About the Clinician's Workday
Clinicians will provide on-site outpatient hematology and oncology coverage in Virginia, managing 12-15 patients per day with 12-15 new consults expected. Call coverage is a required component of this assignment and is structured as beeper-only for established patients, with a volume of approximately 2-5 phone contacts per week. The clinical scope encompasses the evaluation and management of hematologic and oncologic conditions within a community hospital outpatient oncology center setting. Board certification in Hematology/Oncology is negotiable for this locum tenens engagement.
