Job description
BSWH is seeking a Hematology & Medical Oncologist to join our outstanding BSWH Cancer Center in Killeen, Texas. This is a career opportunity with a generous benefits package. It offers work-life balance, a competitive salary, productivity bonus, moving allowance, and no state income tax.
nPosition Highlights:
nnnSupport Staff: Join a team of 2 other physicians, nurse coordinators, nurse navigator, and clerical/scheduling staff at a dedicated and established cancer center.
n
nnOffice hours: Monday- Friday, 8:00am- 5:00pm.
n
nnConvenience of: Onsite lab, pharmacy, infusion center, and Radiation Oncology.
n
nnReferral base: primary care network, surgeons, and inpatient from connecting hospital.
n
nnTools: EMR - EPIC and BEACON, DAX – AI Ambient Listening – improves clinical workflows and patient experience.
n
nnOpportunities for: Clinical Trials. Academic affiliation of Baylor College of Medicine- Temple Campus.

n nBenefits

nTime off: PPTO, Practicing Physician Time Off allows for vacations and personal time starting with 27 days per year. 6 federally recognized holidays and sick time are not deducted from your available days and are paid as regular salary.
nRetirement: 401(k) savings plan with dollar-for-dollar match up to 5%, 403 (b), 457 (f) 3% employer contribution. You become 100% vested in our matching contributions and any related earnings after completing 3 years of service.
nLicensure and dues - we pay annual re-licensure fees and DEA renewal fees for full and part-time physicians.
nCME: 15 workdays; $4,250 in reimbursement per calendar year.

nnLicensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
n
nnWhere applicable, the employee must be board certified in their specialty or demonstrate certification by the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists.
