Hematology Section Lead Medical Technologist / MLS

Permanent Laboratory Leadership Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) / Medical Technologist for a Hematology Section Lead opportunity in the Smithton, MO area.
This is a great opportunity for an MLS who has strong hematology experience and is ready to take on additional responsibility within the laboratory. Previous lead or supervisory experience is a plus, but applicants do not need to hold a specialty certification in hematology to be considered.
Requirements & Qualifications:
MLS(ASCP) certification required
Appropriate MLS/Medical Technology education
Strong clinical laboratory experience
Experience working in Hematology
Leadership, lead tech, or supervisory experience is preferred
SH(ASCP) or other hematology-specific certification is NOT required
Candidates with a hematology specialty certification are highly encouraged to apply
