Mercyhealth has a full-time Hematology/Medical Oncologist opportunity to join our excellent team in Rockford, Illinois .
Opportunity
Practice in the newly opened Cancer Institute (May 2025) located on the campus of Mercyhealth Javon Bea Hospital-Riverside in Rockford, IL
Build your individual oncology practice as an employed physician with the support of operational leaders and a comprehensive multidisciplinary cancer team
Outstanding referral system from primary care and specialty providers
EPIC EMR with BEACON oncology module
Vast multi‑specialty referral sources
501c3 non‑for‑profit
Mercyhealth System Cancer Services
Qualifications
Fellowship trained in Hematology/Medical Oncology
Completion of an ACGME‑accredited residency program in relevant field
MD/DO board certified/board eligible
Skilled at providing exceptional care
The ability to communicate clearly and work as a member of a team
