Job description
Position: Locum Tenens Hematologist / Medical Oncologist
EMR: Cerner
Start Date: December 1, 2026 (Ongoing Coverage)
Credentialing Timeline: ~60 Days
?? Schedule & Shift Breakdown
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch)
Shift Commitment: Full-time preferred; will consider candidates offering 2-3 weeks per month on an ongoing basis
Call Structure: Shared night and weekend call rotation
Clinical Environment & Workload Scope Practice Setting: Community-based cancer center offering ambulatory clinic and inpatient hospital consults
Onsite Staffing & Services: Staffed with 2 MDs, 3 NPs, and integrated Radiation Oncology services
Infusion Capacity: 18 Chemotherapy infusion chairs + 2 Non-chemotherapy infusion chairs
Procedures: In-clinic Bone Marrow Biopsies preferred
Qualifications & Requirements Board Status: Board Eligible (BE) in Hematology and Medical Oncology
Certifications: Active BLS, ACLS, and ATLS certifications
