A healthcare organization in Virginia is seeking a Hematology/Oncology physician for a short-term locum tenens assignment covering the year-end holiday period.
Assignment Highlights
Coverage dates: December 28, 2026 - January 3, 2027
Outpatient practice setting
Scheduled clinical hours plus call
Approximately 25 patients per shift
Established support staff including RNs, medical assistants, and office personnel
No APP supervision required
No resident or teaching responsibilities
Beeper call coverage
EMR: Onco
Candidate Requirements
Board Certified/Board Eligible Hematology/Oncology physician
Fellowship preferred
Active Virginia medical license required
ACLS and BLS required
This is an excellent opportunity for a Virginia-licensed Hematology/Oncology physician seeking a defined holiday coverage block with an established clinical support team.
