We re currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner - Hematology/Oncology to join our amazing team.
Details of the Opening:
Start Date: mid - August (Flexible)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Coverage Type: Ongoing inpatient coverage; day and night shifts
Night Shift: (2 FTE) / Day Shift: (1 FTE; may transition to in the fall) / Coverage varies monthly; schedule provided by facility
Support staff: Attending physicians
Facility Type: Academic Hospital
Practice Setting: Inpatient Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) / Hematology & Cellular Therapy
EMR/Charting Software: Epic
Avg. Daily Census: 8 12 patients
Patient Age Group: Adult
Procedures: Bone marrow biopsies, stem cell infusions/transfusions, admission, daily rounding, discharge planning, patient and family education, management of transplant and cellular therapy complications (GVHD, CRS, ICANS)
Requirements:
Board Certification Required
MO license required
BLS required; ACLS preferred
1.5 2 years of inpatient Bone Marrow Transplant APP experience required
