QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Licensure Requirements
Completion of an accredited graduate level Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) program.
Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant) in the state of North Carolina or eligible.
Board certification if required by the Department
Professional Experience Requirements:
At least 3+ year as a NP is preferred.- Willing to train new grads
Prefer candidates with past experience in Hematology and or oncology setting
Job duties and expectations:
See a variety of hematology and oncology patients, including managing a benign hematology caseload
See pretreat patients prior to chemotherapy treatments
Complete all chemo education with patients prior to new or changing treatments
Support the medical oncologist to see any patients that are having symptoms or concerns
Review patient labs and test results to approve treatments
