Hematologist/Oncologist Beverly & Gloucester, MA North Shore Äî Greater Boston Area Position Details Full-time, permanent position Setting: Outpatient Äî based at two North Shore hospital locations Board Eligible candidates must complete Board Certification within 5 years of residency graduation Practice OverviewSeeking a BC/BE Medical Oncologist to join an accredited cancer program on Boston's desirable North Shore: Member of a large health system with over 5,500 new analytic cancer cases annually Join system-wide multidisciplinary tumor boards including Breast, General Tumor Board, Thoracic, and Dermatology Äî with access to additional tumor boards on a case-by-case basis Teams include surgeons, radiation oncologists, pathologists, and radiologists Focus areas include clinical standardization, research agendas, quality metrics, and outcomes reporting Comprehensive Cancer Program accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer (CoC) Breast program accredited by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC) Main member in SWOG and NRG clinical research networks Robust Translational Research Program and Clinical Effectiveness Research Institute Opportunity for academic appointment with Tufts University School of Medicine and UMass Chan School of Medicine commensurate with achievement Compensation & Benefits Base salary range: $400,000 Äì$425,000 annually Performance-based incentive compensation including productivity and quality bonuses Comprehensive benefits package Äî details provided upon inquiry Required Qualifications MD or DO Äî Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology Board Eligible candidates must complete Board Certification within 5 years of residency Massachusetts medical license or willingness to obtain About the Organization Beverly Hospital Äî 317-bed tertiary care facility, outpatient clinic, and Level I Trauma Center with a physician-led multi-disciplinary group practice of 500+ physicians and several accredited residency and fellowship programs Addison Gilbert Hospital Äî 79-bed acute medical facility in Gloucester with specialties including cancer care, cardiology, pulmonary, geriatric services, endocrinology, primary care, wound care, and emergency medicine Part of a large integrated health system with a vibrant clinical research program About the Community Äì Beverly & Gloucester, Massachusetts Charming, desirable communities on Boston's scenic North Shore Excellent school systems and abundant cultural activities Convenient access to the mountains and seacoast of New England Beautiful coastal communities with rich maritime history and stunning ocean scenery Close proximity to world-class Boston Äî dining, arts, sports, and academic institutions Four distinct New England seasons with year-round outdoor recreation Logan International Airport offering extensive domestic and international connections
