Locums - Big Stone Gap, Virginia Hematology/Oncology Start Date
11/01/2026Full-time coverage Schedule
24-hour call shifts: 8:00 AM - 8:00 AMNo hourly call shiftsProvider works regular clinic hours while on callOnsite Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PMCover one week of 24-hour call per monthPrimarily a float position between multiple locationsApproximately 2 weeks/month at the primary locationRemaining 2 weeks split between two sister locations, approximately 2 days/weekDuring call week, provider maintains clinic responsibilities, including Friday clinic coverage at the primary location Coverage
Float between multiple facilitiesBoth locations treat Hematology and Oncology patientsInpatient consultations at the primary location as neededTelehealth consultations acceptable for other locations unless onsite coverage is requiredOne additional location is tele-consult only and covered exclusively during the assigned call weekTelehealth consults provided for the additional facility during call shifts at other locations Patient Population
