Job description
Location 1 AND Location 2 are looking for a Locum-to-Perm Hematologist Oncologist to cover their needs!
Schedule:
2 weeks on/2 weeks off with call
Patient Contact Hours: 6
Clinic Days: 8
Clinic Hours: 8a-4p
Procedure/OR Days: 0
On Call: Yes; exact schedule TBD asap
Dates Needed Coverage:
Facility needs coverage 4 days per week. 95% of coverage is outpatient. 5% of coverage is inpatient.
Provider will need to be able to cover (mostly). These can be either M-Th or M-F:
September 14 - October 2 (3 weeks)
October (2 weeks)
November 16 - 27 (Excludes Thanksgiving) (2 weeks)

Telehealth: Yes, there may be telehealth in addition to inpatient responsibilities
Job Description: Medical Hematology/Oncology coverage for 4/5 days per week. Inpatient coverage of both sites
Number of Physicians: 1
Number of Advances Practice Providers: 0
Supervision of APPs expected: NO
Nursing Support: 1:1
Medical Imaging: Yes
Lab & Pharmacy: Yes
Clinic Provider Daily Volume: 10-30
Average Daily Hospital Practice Census: 10-15
Appointment Length: consult - 40 minutes, follow up - 20 minutes
Patient Population: Primary Clinic - Medicare/ Medicaid/Commercial; Secondary Clinical - Commercial, Medicare
EMR: EPIC
Services offered in the practice
Patient assessments, new treatment plans, ongoing treatment plans, changes in therapy, referral for ancillary services, end of life care, chemotherapy management, pain management (radiation and surgical oncology management provided by existing providers with strong relationships)
Submission Requirements Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Hematology and Oncology - REQUIRED
Willing to review candidates Board Certified in Oncology with Hematology experience & willing to see Hematology patients - please note at time of name clear - REQUIRED
Active IA License or Active IMLC (please upload LOQ at time of name clear) - REQUIRED
Fellowship Trained in Hematology & Oncology - REQUIRED
Must be experienced - REQUIRED
Provider must be willing to work on both locations - please note at time of name clear - REQUIRED
Clean Malpractice/Background - REQUIRED
