Hematology/Oncology opening in MN - Visa EligibleLocated in Detroit Lakes, MN; Fargo 60mFull Time; PermanentEmployedH1b Visa eligibleOverview:Consultative call only; hospitalists routinely admit and cover patients at nightAverage 12-14 follow up visits and 1-2 new patients per dayTeam of 3 MDs and 1 APC with anticipated future growthIncludes regional outreach 1 day per week at one of these clinics: Park Rapids, and FosstonApproximately 10 days of call a monthEPIC electronic medical recordExcels in the relationship and support of cancer patients in a warm and welcoming settingCaring and attentive team of support services including genetic counselor, nutrition support, social work, nurse navigation, behavior therapist and lymphedema specialistsSpecialty services include on-site Radiation Oncology, Interventional Radiology and Palliative CareMultidisciplinary Tumor Board ConferencesTelemedicine/community cancer center includedNCI Community Oncology Research Program grant (NCORP) recipient with access to current, relevant clinical trialsProgram accreditations as a Comprehensive Community Cancer Program and the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers by the American College of SurgeonsCertified as HIMSS EMRAM (Electronic Medical Record Adoption Model) Level 7 for both our Inpatient and Ambulatory facilitiesLOCATIONCentrally located in the heart of the Lakes Area1 hour from Fargo and 3 hours from the Twin CitiesDetroit Lakes population: 8,500Regional Service area consists of 5 clinics and 1 hospitalFor more information about the communities, visit:
