Job description
TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified, Fellowship-Trained Hematology/Oncology Physician for a permanent opportunity with a community-based cancer program in eastern North Carolina.

Opportunity to grow a community-based oncology practice
Schedule
Monday Friday
Shared call model
Practice Environment
Established team of 3 physicians and 3 advanced practice providers
Strong referral base
Mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
Clinical duties include:
Development of treatment plans for new patients
Chemotherapy oversight
Supervision of APPs for follow-up care
Participation in tumor boards
Inpatient rounding
Facility Highlights
Community cancer center with:
12 infusion chairs
10 exam rooms
Radiation oncology services on-site
Experienced nursing staff and nurse navigators
Multidisciplinary oncology support team
Requirements
Board Eligible or Board Certified Hematology/Oncology
Fellowship trained required
Active North Carolina license (or ability to obtain)
