Job Overview Specialty: Oncology and Hematology Hospital Location: Lapeer, MI Summary: Seeking a Medical Oncology and Hematology Physician to provide outpatient clinic coverage on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, including clinic call as needed. This role is to cover a recruitment gap. License: MI License (not accepting IMLC at this time) Reason for Coverage: Recruitment gap Days Required: Monday, Wednesday, Friday Coverage Type: Clinic and clinic call Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM On-Call Requirements: Clinic call only Average Patients per Day: 15-20 outpatient clinic patients EMR System: Cerner 100% Adult Outpatient Practice Setting & Support: Oncology and Hematology outpatient clinic. Previously a two-physician practice with NP assistance Support Staff Includes: Oncology RNs Medical Assistants Social Worker Dietitian Nurse Navigator On-site Services: Infusion center On-site CBCs Recruitment for a full-time physician is ongoing Procedures / Skills Required: Hematology outpatient care Oncology outpatient care Participation in tumor board Specialty Category: Hematology/Oncology Experience min 2 years ABOUT DELTA LOCUM TENENS
