Locums - Martinsville, Virginia Hematology/Oncology Opening Clinical Role Provide Hematology/Oncology coverage for an established outpatient practice. Long-term commitment and drive-in candidates are preferred.Assignment Details Coverage Dates: September 8-October 30, 2026November 16-November 22Ongoing NeedSchedule:
Outpatient clinical hours plus light call4 shifts per week8-10 hours per day based on patient volumeOvertime after 40 hours per weekApproximately 12-15 patients per day Call Coverage Light beeper call for established patientsApproximately 2-5 phone calls per week1-hour response timeNo onsite night or weekend call requirement Support & Practice 3 established permanent providers plus 6 RNs, 1 PA/NP, and 6 office staffThis is joining an existing team, not solo coverage13-bed facilityAria EMRApartment availableDrive-in candidates preferred Requirements Board Certified/Board Eligible - RequiredHematology/Oncology Fellowship - RequiredActive Virginia license - RequiredABLS, ACLS, BLS - Required About Martinsville, Virginia Martinsville offers a relaxed Southern Virginia lifestyle surrounded by scenic countryside and outdoor recreation.
