nSchedule: Full-Time | 4 Clinic days/week
nBase salary: $550,000 base salary followed by production model and quality incentive
nCommencement bonus, relocation, loan assistance, fellowship stipend - if applicable
nCME annual allowance of $4,250 plus dedicated CME days outside of PTO
nMalpractice coverage with tail covered by the Ascension comprehensive package
nThis job location is currently located in a Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs) and/or Medically Underserved Areas/Populations (MUA/P) Shortage
nHow you’ll make an impact in this role
nnnCollaborative Team Structure: Join an established, high-performing team consisting of 7 Medical Oncology physicians, 2 Radiation Oncology physicians, and 3 Nurse Practitioners.
n
nnBalanced Work Environment: Utilize a mixed care setting (inpatient and outpatient) averaging 25 patients seen per day across all providers, with 4 new patient inquiries daily.
n
nnPredictable Call Schedule: Maintain a manageable clinic call rotation of 1:7, with an average of 1-2 consults per day when assigned to the inpatient block.
n
nnDrive Clinical Excellence: Deliver evidence-based clinical decision-making to maintain consistently high patient satisfaction, building upon a practice network that currently boasts a net promoter score over 90%.
n
nnEnhance Future Care Delivery: Cultivate the next generation of medical professionals through robust academic mentorship opportunities with medical students and mid-level trainees from regional institutions.
n
nnTechnology Integration: Leverage specialized clinical systems, including Aria, AthenaHealth, and IM Bills, to streamline patient documentation and optimize quality outcomes.
n
nnSystem Integration: Benefit from an established, secure AMG Contract employed position with a built-in internal referral pipeline.
n
nnProfessional Requirements: Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology.

Patients benefit from a close-knit network of regional assets, including the full-service hospital capabilities of Ascension St. Vincent Evansville, which features a Level 2 Trauma Center and specialized medical-surgical and perinatal support. nLicensure / Certification / Registration:
nnnPhysician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

nnAdvanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

n nEducation:
nnDoctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
