Job Summary and Responsibilities
nPart Time Hematologist/Oncologist - Santa Cruz, CA
nAs our Part Time Hematologist & Oncologist with Dignity Health Medical Group - Dominican, a physician-led, patient-centered organization in Santa Cruz, CA, you will play a vital role in providing expert hematology and oncology care within our established, high-performing oncology program at the Mary & Richard Solari Cancer Center. This role offers the a balanced, consistent schedule of 3 days per week while allowing you to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a stunning coastal community where the redwoods meet the Pacific.
nYou will provide patient care within our Commission on Cancer (CoC) Accredited program, delivering expert hematology and oncology care in both outpatient and inpatient settings. You will utilize the co-located Solari Infusion Center, featuring 15 private bays for modern treatment delivery. This role allows you to collaborate effectively with our multidisciplinary team, potentially participating in daily rounds for the 17-bed inpatient oncology unit as needed, and partnering with navigators and social workers to ensure a seamless patient journey from diagnosis through survivorship.
nTo be successful in this role, you will be a driven, Board Certified/Eligible ib noth Hematology & Oncology seeking the flexibility of a part time position. nWe are offering a competitive range of $350,000 - $369,000 annually for the part time position, medical and dental benefits (0.6 FTE and higher), productivity incentives and more!
nJob Requirements
nRequired:
nnnDoctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution

nnBoard certification or eligibility in Hematology/Oncolgy
n
nnActive or eligible license in the state of California
n
nnExcellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills

nnAbility to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
