Hematology/Oncology Physician Prestonsburg, KY

Shift: Day shift, 8:00 am 5:00 pm (Monday Friday)
Schedule: 3-5 days/week (client flexible)
Hours/Week: 40+ hours/week
Employment Type: Contract outpatient position
License/Certs: Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology
Experience: Recent patient-facing experience required
Pay & Benefits
Hourly Pay Rate: $479.70

What You ll Do
Provide outpatient Hematology/Oncology care at a busy clinic setting
Manage a low-volume caseload ( 15 patients/day) independently
Support staff with APP and colleagues at the facility in Hazard, KY
Document patient encounters using Meditech EMR system
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary team on patient treatment plans
Support patients through diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care
Adhere to all clinical guidelines and quality standards
What You Need
Current, active medical license in Kentucky or the ability to obtain one
Board certification in Hematology/Oncology
Minimum of 2+ years recent clinical experience in outpatient cancer care
Strong patient communication skills and team-oriented mindset
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a low-volume setting
