Job description
We re actively seeking a Board-Certified Hematology/Oncology Physician for a locum opportunity in Richmond, VA , with an immediate need for primarily inpatient coverage , and occasional outpatient support during physician vacations. This is a great chance to join a small, established team and make a direct impact in a community-based hospital setting.
Position Highlights: Location: Richmond, Virginia
Start: As soon as credentialed
Schedule: Full-time locum coverage
Setting: Primarily inpatient; some outpatient
Patient Population: Adults
Daily Census (Inpatient): patients
Team Structure: Join 2 experienced physicians
EMR: EPIC
Requirements: Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology Required
Active Virginia Medical License Required
BLS Certification Required
Clean Background Highly Preferred
️ Practice Scope: Inpatient Hematology/Oncology rounding
Outpatient coverage only during vacations
No pediatric responsibilities
Collaborative work with existing oncology team
