Ascend Medical is seeking a physician for locum tenens coverage . Position Details:
• Specialty: Hematology/Oncology
• Practice Setting: Primarily Inpatient with some Outpatient coverage during physician vacations
• Patient Population: Adult
• Average Daily Census: patients
• Current Practice Size: 2 physicians
• EMR: Epic
• Reason for Coverage: Physician relocation Coverage Dates (Monday Friday):
• July
• July

• August 3 7
• August
• August
• August Responsibilities:
• Inpatient and outpatient Hematology/Oncology coverage
• Oversight of a Nurse Practitioner
• Call coverage
• Interest and willingness to enroll patients in clinical research studies
Required Qualifications:
• Board Certified Hematology/Oncology
• Active Virginia Medical License
