Locums Hematology Oncology Physician in Waterloo, Iowa - Two Weeks Monthly, Light Call
Build your schedule around two weeks of monthly coverage with a primarily clinic-based adult hematology and oncology workload and limited inpatient responsibilities.

Hospitalists handle admissions
Two advanced practice providers with no supervision required
Infrequent inpatient consults
Practice & Cases
Adult hematology and oncology with 16 to 20 clinic patients per day
Consults, follow-up care, and oversight of antineoplastic therapy
Bone marrow biopsies, phlebotomies, IV IgG, and iron therapy
Nursing, lab, social work, referral, triage, and dietitian resources
Schedule
Typically Monday through Thursday
8 hour daytime shifts
Potential phone-only call one week and one weekend per month
Requirements
Must be an MD or DO
Must be Board Certified in Hematology and Oncology
Active Iowa license or active IMLC LOQ required
BLS and DEA required
Logistics
