A leading healthcare organization in Missouri is seeking an experienced Hematology Section Lead to join its laboratory team.
Position Highlights Full-time opportunity
Leadership opportunity within the Hematology section
Work in a hospital-based clinical laboratory
Oversee daily operations within the Hematology department
Perform and oversee complex laboratory testing and analysis
Ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality patient test results
Assist with quality control, instrumentation, troubleshooting, and regulatory compliance
Support laboratory staff and help maintain efficient department operations
Collaborate with other laboratory sections and healthcare professionals
Opportunity to take on a leadership role while remaining involved in the technical side of the laboratory
What We're Looking For MLS or MT certification through ASCP required
Previous Hematology laboratory experience required
Previous laboratory leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of hematology testing, instrumentation, and laboratory procedures
Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems effectively
Strong understanding of quality control and regulatory requirements
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accurate patient results
Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
