Home Health Aides (HHAs) and CNAs for Home Health DutiesSynergy HomeCare of Miami is seeking experienced, compassionate, and reliable Home Health Aides (HHAs) and CNAs (that are open to do Home Health duties) to provide non-medical in-home care services throughout Miami-Dade County.This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position. We are currently experiencing high demand for English-speaking caregivers and are looking for professionals who can communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.Compensation and Availability$18.00–$19.50 per hourHigher rates may be considered for candidates with exceptional experience and qualificationsFlexible schedules availableNightshifts/Overnights and Weekends (Dayshifts) availableFull-time and part-time opportunitiesMiami Dade County Cases (Coral Gables, Miami Beach, Key Biscayne)Requirements:Fluent or highly proficient spoken EnglishMust successfully pass an English proficiency interviewMinimum 1 year of private duty, home care, assisted living, hospital, rehabilitation, or nursing home experienceValid HHA certificate and CNA license in case of Home Health dutiesReliable transportationProfessional and compassionate demeanorAbility to assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)Typical Duties:Personal care and bathing assistanceDressing and groomingMobility and transfer assistanceMeal preparationLight housekeepingMedication remindersCompanionshipDementia and Alzheimer's carePost-surgical supportEscort to appointments and errandsRequired Documents: Applicants should be prepared to provide the following:HHA Certificate or CNA LicenseValid Driver's License and Car insurance with Insurance Declaration PageCurrent CPR/BLS CertificationPhysical Examination completed within the last 6 months stating "Free of Communicable Diseases"Professional ReferencesLevel 2 Background Screening (for more information visit The Agency for Health Care Administration web page)HIV/AIDS 4-Hour Training Certificate (HIV 104)Alzheimer's/Dementia Training CertificateRequired In-Service Training Certificates (HIPAA, OSHA, Infection Control, Assisting with Self-Medication, Elder Abuse)Preferred Qualifications:Experience with dementia and Alzheimer's clientsExperience with transfers and mobility assistancePost-operative care experienceAvailability for weekends, overnights, and nightshifts assignmentsBilingual English/Spanish is a plusAble to work in the Miami Dade County AreaApplicants with strong English communication skills, excellent references, and verified caregiving experience will receive priority consideration.Apply Now and be part of the Synergy HomeCare of Miami team!
