Job description
Duties:
nnProvide direct care and support to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities
nAssist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks
nImplement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors
nAdminister medication according to prescribed guidelines and maintain accurate records
nEnsure the safety and well-being of individuals at all times
nMaintain a clean and organized living environment
nDocument individual progress and communicate effectively with team members
n nQualifications:
nnExperience or education in social work or a related field is preferred
nKnowledge of autism spectrum disorders and behavior management techniques
nAbility to follow medication administration protocols and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
nExperience working with children or in a childcare setting is a plus
nPhysical ability to lift and transfer individuals as needed
nValid driver's license and reliable transportation for transporting individuals to appointments or activities
nFirst aid and CPR certification is preferred
n nThis position requires a compassionate individual who is dedicated to providing quality care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to work effectively as part of a team, and have a genuine desire to make a positive impact in the lives of others.
