HHA (Home Health Aide)Wichita Falls, TexasHourly Pay: $15 - $20 / an hour Maxim Healthcare Services is hiring for a Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide personal care services, as necessary, to meet the patient's needs.Responsibilities:Responsible for assisting patient with and per plan of care, the following:Baths, Oral hygiene, Dressing and undressing, Toileting activities, feeding, etcTaking and recording oral, rectal and axillary temperatures, pulse, respiration and blood pressure when ordered (with appropriate completed/demonstrated skills competency)Safe transfer and ambulation techniquesExercise according to the plan of carePerforming range of motion and other simple procedures as an extensional therapy service as ordered (with appropriate completed/demonstrated skills competency)Patient's laundryMeeting safety needs of patients and using equipment safely and properly (foot stools, side rails, etc.)Observation and teaching of home safety practicesRecognition of an emergency situation and knowledge of emergency management proceduresMust follow patients plan of care and complete all tasks assignedCommunicates in a constant, clear, and effective way with the client, family/caregiver and officeObserves and documents patient condition and reports any changes, to the assigned nurse supervisorRequirements:Meets all training requirements in accordance with state and federal laws when applicableAbility to read, follow written instructions and document care givenPossess and maintains current CPR certification in accordance with state regulationPPD or chest x-ray if applicableSuccessful completion of Maxim screening examinationsParticipation and completion of Maxim's competency programMust meet all federal, state, and local requirementsMaxim Benefits:Health and Wellness Medical/Prescription, Dental, Vision, Health Advocacy (company paid if enrolled Medical) and Health Advocate Employee Assistance ProgramRetirement and Financial Security: Health Savings Account, 401(k), Short Term Disability, Voluntary Group Life Insurance and Supplemental Accidental Insurance, Hospital Expense Protection Plan, Critical Illness Insurance, Home and Auto Insurance discounts, Pet Insurance and Legal BenefitsLifestyle Benefits: Paid Time Off, Employee Discount Program, Transportation Benefits and College Partnership Program*Benefit eligibility is dependent on employment status.
